The A8H uses an 8-inch Multi-Layer Mineral woofer for controlled low frequencies, a 3.5-inch midrange driver for vocal and instrument clarity, and a precision X-ART ribbon tweeter for extremely detailed highs. This 3-way separation allows each frequency range to be handled independently, resulting in better imaging, lower distortion, and more accurate translation of mixes across different playback systems.

It also includes advanced DSP (digital signal processing), room correction options, and ADAM’s HPS waveguide system, which helps control dispersion for a wide and stable stereo field. The monitor can be fine-tuned using onboard controls or software integration, making it adaptable to different studio environments.
